First Attempt to create a blog..its effin epic!!! X

Okay......i dont know if im retarded or overjoyed but at least i try making one!

Hello F*ckin epic world out there (Sorry for the f*ck) making a blog is not that easy (some people told me though)....well anyway..bcoz of boredom i create one so i dont feel the boredom in my life and what stress brings to me.

My name is James Angelo Z. Cruz or you can call me Jz Cruzer (use this one i love this name). I'm from the Philippines..bcoz of boredom i create a blog so i can relieve myself from super duper annoying stress (who loves stress?!)..

My first blog actually is about Auto-Tune,do you know about it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auto-Tune

"Auto-Tune uses a phase vocoder to correct pitch in vocal and instrumental performances. It is used to disguise off-key inaccuracies and mistakes, and has allowed singers to perform apparently perfectly tuned vocal tracks without needing to sing in tune."

Okay now i get it but is there any people/artist who use Auto-Tune?

"Auto-Tune was used to produce the prominent altered vocal effect on Cher's "Believe", recorded in 1998, the first major hit song to employ the software for this purpose. When first interviewed about this, the producers claimed that they had used a Digitech Talker FX pedal, in whatSound on Sound perceived as an attempt to preserve a trade secret.[6] After the massive success of "Believe", many artists imitated the technique, which became known as the "Cher Effect". It was evident in songs of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Some notable examples areGigi D'Agostino's "La Passion" and Janet Jackson's US #1 hit "All For You", among many others. After years of relative dormancy, the effect was revived in the late-2000s by R&B singerT-Pain, who elaborated on the effect in contemporary popular music by making active use of Auto-Tune in his songs.[7] This technique has since gone on to be very widely imitated by numerous other modern R&B and pop artists. T-Pain has become so well associated with Auto-Tune that he has an iPhone App named after him that simulates the effect called "I Am T-Pain"[8], developed by Smule.[9] T-Pain's use of Auto-Tune has been cited as an influence on other urban artists' works, including Snoop Dogg's single "Sexual Eruption", Lil Wayne's single "Lollipop", and Kanye West's album 808s & Heartbreak.

According to the Boston Herald, country stars Faith HillShania Twain, and Tim McGraw have all confessed to using Auto-Tune in performance, claiming it is a safety net that guarantees a good performance.[10] However, other country music singers, such as Loretta Lynn,Allison MoorerDolly PartonTrisha YearwoodVince GillGarth BrooksMartina McBride, and Reba McEntire, have refused to use Auto-Tune.[11]"

now i get it!!!! Before i dont know who sang the song "Believe" i thought its Madonna or Janet Jackson(Im so fucking wrong its Cher) my mom said that she really likes that song and the sound of the song really gets into her head and makes her dance all night. Before it is called "Cher Effect" bcoz she makes a wide range of using it and making it popular and usable to other artist. Next T-Pain revived it and he also use it on some of his songs and recordings although not bad many artist get criticism on this.

Do you know Ke$ha? The drunk dollar sign girl with massive dance pop songs? She face a lot of criticism because mostly some of her songs have Auto-Tune. Well..her songs some are so bad ass (Blow,WE R WHO WE R,Cannibal,Tik Tok) some of her are so noisy and hot mess although i still like her (yet sometimes many people accused her that she wants to be like Mother Monster).

Jay-Z the rapper although some rappers use Auto-Tune but him he criticized it so much (that's him i dont blame him or hate him he is just stating his opinion about that)

" Later that spring, Jay-Z titled the lead single of his album The Blueprint 3 as "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)". Jay-Z elaborated that he wrote the song under the personal belief that far too many people had jumped on the Auto-Tune bandwagon and that the trend had become a gimmick."

I know the Queen of Pop,Britney also use Auto-Tune so much (some critics though)..I know britney can sing but..errrr..why!?

"In 2009, Time magazine quoted an unnamed Grammy-winning recording engineer as saying, "Let's just say I've had Auto-Tune save vocals on everything from Britney Spears to Bollywood cast albums. And every singer now presumes that you'll just run their voice through the box." The same article expressed "hope that pop's fetish for uniform perfect pitch will fade", speculating that pop-music songs have become harder to differentiate from one another, as "track after track has perfect pitch."[21][22] Timothy Powell, a producer/engineer stated in 2003 that he is "even starting to see vocal tuning devices show up in concert settings"; he states that "That's more of an ethical dilemma—people pay a premium dollar to see artists and artists want people to see them at their best."

its like....Abra Kadabra..the magic of Auto-Tune..*Poof*
Christina Aguilera(YEAH!!) one of my favorite artist and my influence in R&B and Soul music. She also jump into Auto-Tune. In her current studio Album "Bionic" consist of R&B and Electropop which is epic...but she face a lot of criticism..."Too noisy" and it doesnt fit for her...many critics also review the album it sounds liek a "Robot-glam GaGa" comparisons were made...so sad..but her Not Myself Tonight,Bionic,Woohoo and You Lost Me rocks!!!

im side track!!! okay going back

She also use Auto-Tune on one of her tracks "Elastic Love" oh well its very obvious yet its too catchy she also said that Auto Tune is not that bad at least you use that on a creative way

WHY NOT!? XTINA BLESS YOU!

anyway the criticism that might you''ll get for Auto-Tune is if you have talent for singing coz they said that Auto-Tune uplifts your voice,Oh well..

SHUT UP AND JUST LISTEN TO MUSIC!

Haha well it makes sense but it doesnt matter 50 likes for Auto Tune and 50 dislikes for Auto Tune.
